when you accelerate the digital dash will jump in 3 5 7 or so in increment's. can this be calibrated to where it might run faster .....like the freaking gas pumps do

You are supposed to look where you are going, not at the dash. The gas station will reach in to your pocket and take as much as it can till your tank is full. Next, the station will charge you for parking while filling the tank and holding your keys so you can't leave.
