For the 50 millionth time :help:
89 Coupe, no heater core, don't care if there is heat to my oil cooler,
and I'd like to bypass the throttle body. I'm confused as all hell where
to run to and from. Should I just run from the horizontal nipple that
points to the passenger side off the water pump to the nipple that
points forward off the intake?
Just run a hose from the nipple in the intake to the hard line on the pass.inner fender.
Oooops, no heater core. Go from intake nipple to waterpump nipple.

Imagine my suprise when I pulled the hose off the water pump nipple,
and coolant kept leaking forever...
Another reason for removing the long hoses, first: they don't do any-
thing now that my heater core is dead, second: in Arizona, we have
heat issues, never cold-I don't need heat to my oil cooler base, if
that is where that pipe goes...

Another thing....can I remove that small coolant line that goes to the
back of the intake (it used to t into the heater hose)...
After searching more and more, I see that member hooblyboobly has
plugged all of the heater hose ports, which I can do, but still no
mention of this little line...

I guess I need to clarify...I meant the number of throttle body bypass threads that we have...
My heater core is shot, and it's a weekend car in Arizona, so I'll never
need a heater anyway. I also want to bypass the throttle body, and
I want to get rid of all of the heater hoses to clean things up.

Shifter, if your not confident with a zip tie, use a hose clamp, the smalll ones for fuel injection will work nicely.
I'm understanding that that line is to heat the EGR solenoid to 176 degrees...I have to pass emmisions, but it's usually hot when I go anyway....is plugging it going to affect driveability?
