Default fix the ac or remove it entirely?

just asking for opinions before i yank the condensor, evaporator and lines off my 84

would you guys think id be worth tearing down the a/c system to convert it and possibly get it to work?

it could just be a low charge still uncertain but i dont want to invest a ton of money into that area of the car right now

I guess it all depends on where you live I am in Florida and when my ac lost some love -I poured the money to it. I do not want to be stuck in traffic in July with hot air pouring from the vents..

Another FL vote here, for keeping it... Even when I lived in NY, and I gutted the AC from my 88 IROC, I regretted it later on.

The only time I'd consider getting rid of my A/C system is if I lived in a place like Montana. Otherwise, keep your A/C going.

i live in michigan and my other 2 vehicles have ac and i hardly ever use it so im considering removing it for weight reduction not that its alot or anything but id rather invest money into other areas of the car at the moment and im sure id give me a little more room in the engine bay
