Has anyone used the Interstate Mega-Tron Plus - 85 Months - 700 CCA (MTP-75) battery? My Mega-Tron - 75 Months - 650 CCA (MT-75) might be failing after the years.
I used the mega tron batt. Then I did some auto crossing and the acid leaked out and burn the side panel on my car. Now I only used the sealed Red Top that Interstate sell. Its is a tight fit. It has top and side post.
We used to sell them. They were ok. I found they lasted on average 3-5 years. Some died sooner, some lasted longer.

I sell Interstate and Optima batteries.....made by same folks. Longevity depends a lot on how you use your car, where you live, and where you park it. I am in the Cincinnati area and batteries average about 4 years here due to hot summers (100 deg) and cold winters (0 deg at times).
Is it a daily driver?
Do you use a battery tender?
Do you keep it in heated garage in winter?
Do you store it at all?
Do you leave a radar detector plugged in?
