Ecm ???
Question: ECM got grounded and blowed both 5 amp fuses.
After replacing both fuses the car started several times and I hooked up the MAF and Vacuum line to the breather and it started and ran about thirty seconds , Idle was normal then it shut off with ECM 1 fuse blown again. Replaced it and no spark .
I have another stock 95 vette with stock computer and before I buy or get the ECM repaired would like to swap them and fire the hot rod.
I know it won't run for $=+t but it's just a test.
Any forewarnings would be great cause I like both cars and wouldn't like to harm either.
Well I ain't married and both of these wives don't complain about the other love in my life. LOL
Security seems to be working just fine and I am going to verify no fuel as well as the no spark [ already verified ] . All coil and Inj. fuses are good.
Fuel checked holding pressure oh boy!

As I said I put a guage on it and fuel is good which is bad for now the MSD , COIL , and Opti come back into play.
ECM quit blowing fuses after the second one on ECM 1 , got fuel no spark.
Changed OPTI [ Accel and Water pump and seals ] . Car started right up several times till I grounded out the ECM .
Can't read codes because of GEN 7 aftermarket computer.
I haven't got the right laptop yet to tune it my self so I had it professionally tuned so I can't read the codes on the new computer yet.
The setup is not new it has been running with it since last July.

Yep I figure something is fried but I may wager the stock PROM/ ECM from my stock LT1 Vette will fire the engine off so I don't have to replace the MSD 6 A module and the Blaster coil.
Lord please not the opti too. LOL
If I didn't have an aftermarket Balancer that job would have been a bitch.
The instructions and pic's and special tool I found on the net saved a lot of work.
If anyone takes off their balancer put on an aftermarket unit that will let you change the OPTI w/o removing it.
Also examine the seals closely when you purchase the timing set as I had to buy a second set to get good ones.
It's a job you don't want to go back into again for a while.
