I have an 87 coupe with the Z52 suspension. So does that mean I have the 16X9.5 wheels, or do I have the 16X8.5 Wheels? The tires that are on the car now are size 255/50-16. Thanks.
Where can I find this on my codes, or what is the code for rim size?

Pull a wheel off and look at the backside of the flange. On my 86 the size of the rims is cast in the back of the rim on the flange itself. Surprised me that one side was made in Japan and the other side in the US though.
Thanks, I just checked my codes and the Z52 package is code PW9, which means it comes with cast aluminum wheels, size 16X9.5.
Awesome post for the codes: 87Stoker, This site rocks.
So what does this mean for my size of rims I need to get does that change anything?
