Default Pulley installation help

Hi, Im about to installed my pulley and I noticed that it has an arrow on it. Which way should the arrow be pointing? Thank you.

Which pulley? Do you mean the balancer? wro87

Yes that round thing right in front of the optispark.

I just checked my service manual to be safe
With cylinder #1 at TDC, the arrow should be pointing to 12:00 (straight up).

The trick is knowing when #1 is at TDC since there's no easy way to tell unless you have something you can stick in the #1 plug hole to know when the piston is exactly at the top.

If you didn't take the hub off too, look for a mark on the hub. My 92's hub has a well defined ridge.

I just got a puller and plan to take my hub off Real Soon Now, and from what I read here the hub spline is not keyed for remounting in the correct position.
