My 2002 Flowmaster catalog has PN 9424501-L & 9424501-R for the mufflers only and PN 17153 for the catback & PN 1013 for the Y-pipe only. These are for the 3 chamber Delta flow 50 series. The catalog does not list PN's for the other series mufflers........
The usual one is the FORCE II CAT-BACK SYSTEM. Which are three chamber, 50 series mufflers. The ones that TPiS offers, are a 2 chamber, 40 series muffler. I have a 40 series on my truck, sounds AWESOME.
What I have are the two chambers, 40 series. IMHO they sound much better than the three chamber's. One guy I know has a 3 chamber on his camaro and it made it sound just exactly like a mustang, and we don't want that now do we. I'm not sure what other mods he has to the car, but it certainly wasn't the sound he was looking for.
I've heard other people say that 3 chambers on a vette don't sound have bad, which is entirely possible. I'd like to hear it.
BTW, I just noticed you have flowmasters listed in your sig? Are you looking to replace your existing ones?
I have 2-chamber flowmaster on my '97 Trans Am LT1....its dual outlet into a pair of echo tips and it sounds GREAT, but I wouldn't put those tips on a Corvette. They sure look good on f-bodies though :yesnod:
