Default Thinking about Wideband o2 sensor

Guys, I have been thinking about getting a wide band O2 sensor and controller. The AEM uego controller setup. My question is, will this help me performance wise. I realize the only means i have of adjusting my AFR is fuel pressure and maybe timing. Would this be a good bang for my buck purchase. I no this would not compare up to all of the data loggers out there, but I'm old school. I still read spark plugs to check the engine's conditions. I'm running a tpis mini ram on a 406 with my current fuel pressure set at 42lbs. with 27lb injectors. The car seems to perform better at this lower setting. I was hoping the wideband O2 sensor would help me dail in my timming as well. Thanks for your input.

A wideband o2 is a great tuning tool. But, unless you have the equipment to tune you PCM (chip). The wideband won't do you much good.

What equipment do you suggest? What a bout LM-1, or would I be better off just going to a tune specialist with a dyno meter?

the lm-1 it a really easy wideband to use but will also require the use of the LMA-2 (RPM Converter) or the LMA-3 (AuxBox) to make tuning easy to do. i have had the lm-1 for about 3 years and have been able to tune with just it but it takes alot longer.

How complex is the LM-1 with the LMA-2 or LMA-3, and is the tuning user friendly. What I'm asking, will I, being a first time user see any results with out messing up anything in the process?

Why?
Once you have a WB you can see exactly what fueling the engine is getting. Narrow band is not accurate enough for modified engines.
You still need to datalog to see the other settings (spark , etc ) and then adjust tune using programming software.
