The TH350 is a lot easier. I think giving up the OD in a DD is a big mistake, but for a race car or whatever, the TH350 is much easier than the TH400. There is an adapter made or you could probably have one made up locally, that will accept the 700R4 tail housing. At the proper length, the stock drive shaft fits and works and the "C" beam bolts up like stock.
