Cracked EGR pipe
The chevrolet dealership in town managed to incorrectly band my EGR pipe onto the exhaust manifold resulting in a large crack. My car idles almost has if it has a misfire, and I have a warm start condition similar to that of leaky injectors. Are these conditions normal with a cracked EGR pipe? The dealership is going to replace it as soon as the replacement part arrives. The has had new coil, cap, rotor,plugs,wires, all filters, and oxygen sensor changed. The car has brand new dual exhaust without cataytic converters. All new fluids and such and I have done an ohm test on all injectors they all sit at 15.3 ohms except 1 which is at 15.6. Should I hold off on further testing until I get the EGR pipe corrected?
