How do you remove the fog lamp
Hey guys, I came over from the C3 area to help a fellow vettehead out. He has a 96 that he needs to replace the right front fog light. He was told that there is a trap door under the hood by the fender that he needs to remove to access the lamp, but he cant find any such door. Can someone help a brother out? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look underneath towards the rear of the front bumper cover, there is a small rectangular trap door on either side that has one small screw securing it. Remove the screw and open the door to change the fog light bulb.
If you want to remove the fog light lens assembly, the entire bumper cover has to be removed.
If you want to remove the fog light lens assembly, the entire bumper cover has to be removed.

Yep, you'll have better luck just laying on the ground (on your back) and looking up under the front bumper. You'll see it become obvious how to change out the bulb.

Like GKK said, if is only the bulb, you can do it from under the front bumper. But if you want to remove the whole lamp, you need to remove the bumper. I did it to mine and replace the entire lens. Took me about 2 hrs.
