Default Another headlight questiom................

I got a problem with the headlights in my 91 so I thought Id ask and see what kind of info I get.First off the cars got 8,000 miles. What happens is when I turn on the headlights both will rotate, park and then both motors will run for about 4 seconds and then stop, both motors stop at the same time, everytime.Shut off the lights it does the same thing. When I disconnect the battery and reconnect it the HL motors will run maybe 2 seconds and stop. When I turn on the parking lights and then turn the PL off the HL motors will run for 2 seconds, even though the HL were never turned on.Ive checked the FSM in the trouble shooting section and there is nothing about this.Does this sound like worn bushings? Not too me.Thanks.

Sounds like the bushings. If they have never been replaced I bet that they are dust. Its the age that gets them and not the amount of use.

They are pretty easy. They will get progressively worse, then they will
stop about halfway up. The sticky helps. I've done 2 cars, both looked
just like those pics. Benny
