My brother is looking into buying a 91 vette conv. He asked me to find out he has 2 lights on in the dash. The 1st one is the air bag light. the second one is the INF LIght any insight would be great.
I have no idea if having a bad sensor will illuminate the Airbag light as well as the INF light... but I'd be looking for signs of collision and confirm an airbag is present
Most times it's the INFL REST light in the driver info center and the seatbelt light that light in conjunction with each other. This happens mostly on 90 Vette's not 91's but if you check to see what kind of fault code it throws it will tell you if you have a bad frame sensor (most common problem) or not. Sometimes you can get away with just cleaning the frame and the bottom of the sensor applying some dielectric grease to it and re fastening it to the car frame. Then you have to clear the codes after that to get rid of the lights on the dash. It's not that hard of a repair to do or expensive for that matter. New frame sensors from GM are $60 bucks. Let me know how ya make out and maybe I can help ya more. Pipe
