Cleaning MAP IAT IAC ?
I have a 92 LT1 and AFAIK the rectangular sensor in the intake is the MAP, and the IAT Intake Air Temperature is in the rubber intake tube. Is there anything that can be done to clean these while they are out?
I cleaned the IAC Idle Air Control Valve (in throttle body) with a dash of throttle body cleaner. Dunno how good it is for it so I didn't clean it much. GM recommends some of their cleaners by #'s, not sure of their equivelants. I asked about this a couple times before in other TB cleaning threads without response.
I also cleaned up the EGR, tore apart the TB, and sprayed the hell out of the intake manifold's passages with TB cleaner. I noticed the intake manifold has some huge inverted hex bolts underneath which don't appear to hold anything on, was thinking they may gain a little more access for cleaning hidden passages, but I did not get a hex key socket large enough before I painted the intake so no more chemicals near it.
