I'll try to explain this where it makes sense. The knock sensor in my '90 L98 (187K miles) keeps picking up when i give it gas. it happens mostly after the car heats up and really acts a fool when I turn on the A/C. Seems that one or more of my cylinders is blowing by and from the scan tool it appears that the computer is constantly trying to adjust the timing to make up for whatever is going on. It idles okay and normally runs okay except for the lope from the blowby. All I really know is that when i step on the gas from a stand still the valves start rattling, the knock sensor picks up, and the car goes into limp home mode. Anybody have any suggestions. Just replaced injectors but it was acting crazy before then. Can't push it hard at all because the top end gets pressurized and blows out my intake seal and blows oil out the dipstick but I'm not worried about that part because I plan on rebuilding the engine next year anyway and it only does it when you stand on it. I just want to get through the summer.
