random ground wire, need to id?
ive been working on an 85 corvette for awhile now, and got it running pretty top notch. the main problem with the car was the wiring as somebody somewhere along the line thought it would be sweet to hack the wiring up (it is not, by the way). anywho, i have this one ground wire on the drivers side radiator support, right by the horn. its been cut and a resistor was taped (yes, just taped with electrical tape and as you can imagine its corroded as sh%#) in between the two ends. anybody know what this wire is for? i almost want to say the horn as its right by it and it only works intermittently. ive check the fsm and cant really get a definitive answer. if anybody knows, please help! i can also get a pic up if that would help, but cant do that right now. thanks again.
