OK here goes GANG!1 I have had the fuel pressure gauge fitting Break!!! on the fuel rail and YES!! it rather interesting to say the least. OK! Does anybody out there know of what fitting I need to get that will replace the Shrader valve fitting with one the will screw into the fuel rail come up about 2" and I can then screw the pressure gauge into. I DO NOT want to try the type that treads onto the schrader valve and then the gauge screws into it. They are just a about a 1/8" brass tube that is or is not chrome plated this is what has broke before. I would think that someone might make either an alumminum or steel fitting that screws in direct. Thanks GANG wro87

remember that the pressure hole comes up on an angle from the injector hole. the fitting that goes in the rail that the shrader is on has a corresponding hole so fuel can go out the valve..It feeds the fitting from the side not the bottom. If you screw something in the hole in the rail you will block off the tiny hole and not get any pressure to your guage,
Thanks for the info!! Never pulled the schrader fitting out before but hav an extra set of fuel rails and will see what I can hook up too. I would have thought that there might be some basterd fitting that I could get to work, I am sure there probally is just ain't found it yet!
Not exactly what you want but superior to the fittings that come with gauge kits
What I have on my L98 rail is a -4 AN inline gauge fitting that allows the gauge to mount at right angles with a -4 cap to seal open end. Fits nicely under plenum. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Have never removed valve fitting from rail so do not know thread size so as to replace whole fitting

With the link it looks like this will screw right onto the factory schader valve fiiing, if i'm looking at it right. If this is the case this is just what we are looking for.
Thanks Alot from the guy down under wro87
The reason I ask is that I mounted the Accel gauge (sounds like similar setup) onto both my IROC-Z and the Vette and, after a few years both gauges began to leak fuel into the gauge face...
That is not good. You should have seen the red flags go up when the hood was lifted and the fuel was shooting up about 4-6" and the intake was full. Man I don't know what stopped us from flame on MF@#$@. It almost looks like ours might be leaking too and it is aboput 2 years old.

Correct , schrader valve fitting is -4AN ,just need a cap to seal open end.Can be installed / removed without pulling plenum but need to tweak front vac line fitting so vac hose will clear
THANKS ALOT GANG . I have called Summit to get it going and an extra gauge. The information that we can give to each other is unbelievable and not to mention the experiance and knowledge.
O YEA! Hay for you guys out ther that might not here it HAVE A GREAT FATHERS DAY and don't forget to TAKE A KID TO A CAR SHOW
