Well, tried it myself. Hooked it up, turned key to on. Got just above 30 psi. Cranked, got just about 38psi. Turned car off, in 7 1/2 minutes, I'm at 20 psi. Now I'm seeing about 15psi after 10 minutes.

there really is nothing to them. just a reading on the gauge and it can tell you alot about what your car is doing.

now you have to isolate the leakdown. its either the fuel pressure reg, injectors, it could also be going back through the fuel pump. first thing to do is crimp the return line back to the tank and run the same test. if no leakdown its the reg. if it still leaksdown its probably injectors.
