Default air circulation door

have a ninety vett. with a 350. ac blows cold for a few sec then blows hot how to check circulation doors to see if they are opening and closing properly, how to get to it with out destroying interior, top pipe coming out of evaporator gets cold all the way back to compressor both pipes coming out of accumulator getting cold line from condenser to bottom of evaporator is hot back to compressor it has manual control

Does it have the C68 electronic controls or manual?

Should be activated by a cable, but you check it out the same way. Remove the Resistor Pod on the left hand side of the Evaporator Case and look inside to see what the door is doing while someone operates the controls. Usually, though, when these Manual Systems break, the Control arm or **** gets sloppy - ie, there's no resistance when you move it. If the door is moving, make sure the compressor is staying engaged, otherwise look for ice on the suction line; check operating pressures.
