Door Sill Carpet Replacement?
Has anyone replaced the carpet on the door sills of a '90-'96? I will be replacing the carpet in my car, and was wondering how hard is was to do. I have new front speaker covers that I removed the cloth/carpet from, that was pretty easy, but the door sill looks much more difficult. Any tips would be appreciated.

they are easy, undoo the plastic peice near door catch (2 screws) then undo the 2 screws in the carpet on sides, then whole thing lifts up and out.

If they won't peel easily enough, try placing in the sun on a hot afternoon. The heat should help soften old glue.

It's a PIA for sure. Bear in mind though that the replacement carpet is larger to allow for trimming.

Anyone use a heat gun? would that work, or would it create too much heat?
