I've been looking at the Autoxray scanners. I have a 1994 with OBDI. Is there a better scanner to start with or software and cable to accomplish same results? Right now I need to scan to resolve some emmision issues but possibly may want to do more in the future.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
The best scanner IMHO is a laptop and Datamaster or one of the other programs. They give a full picture of what is going on and can record data for tuning purposes.

Didn't take long to find the right response.
How bout a couple of screenshots, with some parameters that you've modified?
If you don't mind, dis-connect a sensor or 2, and take a screenshot of the 'error' reads!

This is the info I've been seeking. I almost bought a $300 scanner when I can get a $60 cable to do the same thing and more.
Thanks
