Found very clean and very complete 1984 vette. Has been sitting 14 years. Got it home and doing the normal stuff before starting. Gas tank seems full . Is there any other way to drain it other than dropping the tank ???

You could siphon it out? Or maybe disconnect the fuel line under the hood and let the pump empty it? The ALDL connector under the dash can be jumpered to run the fuel pump. I am not sure what pin needs to have 12 volts put to it, I know it is on here someplace.
