Disconnect the wire from the ECM to the O/d relay ( make safe ) and wire a switched 12V feed to relay.
Switch now turns O/d off - on like ECM did.

The ecm just grounds the trans relay to kick it in overdrive..........so you just run a gound though a switch to the transmission relay.....I think it's the green wire.

you'll need a wiring diagram of the overdrive relay...........then just ground the wire which would normaly come from the ecu with a switch you install......waa laa.....you shift into over drive with the switch instead of a computer.

I had it working, but then for some reason it quit! I put a hot 12volt lead directly to the solinoid to listen for the click and I can't hear it. Did the solinoid burn out? How can I test it? Thanks
