They will fit to the heads, but the ports may not quite line up as the 90's head ports are bigger.
Its not much to worry about, they will work, but the EGR issue will need to be solved.

The EGR isn't an issue since the EGR gets it's exhaust from the heat riser passages in the head. All you will have to do is block off the heat riser in the exhaust manifold with a piece of stainless rod of the right diameter and a hose clamp. Or have someone weld a washer on the top of the stainless dowel, and plop it in the hole. Just make sure it's a tight fit or you will have an exhaust leak. or...Make a blank off, and screw it to the header.

Thanks Guys!! I was offerd a set of 90 SS coated headers for a smoken price, and wanted to know if they would work for my 85.
PS. Chris, I just bought a long block 383 for the 85. It's there in PX, so i will be driving up in the next 2 weeks to pick it up. THANKS for all your HELP!!!!
