Driver side knee panel
on an 84. How do i remove the drivers carpeted knee panel? is removal of the digi dash required? Is it bolted on with 4 bolts similar to the passenger side.

After you remove the obvious screws, along the top and near the hood release, there are two bolts. You should see a hole on each side if the steering column in front. Get a socket #13 and extention.

thanks..i got it off in 5 minutes..the new carpet is on and the glue is drying as i type..why couldnt the passenger side have the same simple bolt pattern...On the new carpet i didnt cut out the 2 bolt holes..i just cut an x pattern, so the bolts will stay hidden.
