fuel cutoff is at 10,031rpm with fuel resume at 9544 rpm. Of course, these vaulues can be changed if one needs more room to work with!!

...And that's in conjunction with fuel cutoff at 255mph...And fuel resume at 227mph...
...I think these are pretty realistic...Don't you???

Re: Does a stock 90' ECM have a rev limiter? (Rich B.)
I guess I'm going to have to upgrade the brakes now. 227 mph. The reason I was asking was:
1) I was hoping I had a rev limiter for the NOS.
2) I was experiencing some cutout at high revs. I guess it is valve float or fuel stavation.
No NOS, until all is well to 6,000 rpm. My decor plate was coming off the other day, so I may also have a vacuum leak also.

Reprogramming the RPM limit in the chip should work. I have mine set lower (4800 I believe) but have never hit it.

problem with this is the chip only controls fuel cutoff.... if you are on the bottle and all of a sudden there is no fuel.... well, it's not pretty!
Best way to control revs are with ignition cutoff.
