Code 32 for '85
I'm getting a code 32. This is a EGR code, probably vacuum related.
Can some one confirm this? I have a Haynes manual and I know codes changed during the C-4 model run.

yep, code 32 is an EGR code, try tightening your gas cap first and see if it comes back. Sometimes mine will come on when i take a long hwy trip. You should run a search on EGR if it comes back, theyll tell you how to fix it. And get rid of that worthless Haynes Manual, get a Helm or Chiltons or GM shop manual.

I had this on mine and it was the egr temperature sensor. The wire had actually broken, causing intermitent contact, and sometimes a code, sometimes not. The part is cheap, under $20 or so. To replace it you have to remove the plenum, so a gasket kit will also be necessary (another $15??). I have not had the problem since. One note, make sure that the power brake booster vacuum line that is attached to the back of the plenum is reattached and checked after a couple of weeks to see that it is still secure. I had mine work its way loose and lost the power brakes, surprise!
