85 Trans Cooling Lines
My trans cooling lines dont look so hot anymore and are bent up to the point of almost cracking in a few places. Is it possible to replace them with braded hose or do you have to stay with the alumn hard lines that came stock. Are they high pressure or something, is that the reason for the alumn hard lines?

They are under pressure. Not sure how much. Braided lines work great but they are expensive. I repaired a steel line on my Camaro with a short piece of steel line and compression fittings. pretty easy.
