I was wondering if anyone had any hints/sugestions in regards to replacing a broken crank pulley?
Do not run your car.
You don't have a crank pulley on your car its the harmonic balancer/ vibration damper.
It is held on by 3 bolts and is a relatively easy fix. There used to be a couple fax on how to do this.
This link has TMI too much information since its an opti install but you can see the removal of the damper. and skip removing the opti. I have to pull the water pump to remove/replace mine but I have a Mez HD that may block more space than the stock pump.
Break the three bolts loose. Back them out one turn only. Start the car for 10 seconds or so only. The pulley should be easy to remove from that point.
