Feedback on Tuning with an Ostrich
I just got a Moates Ostrich chip emulator. Tuning with a Moates Ostrich is awesome. I wish I had this years ago. It’s so easy and fast to try something. Just pull over, make a change and then try it. You don’t even need to turn off the engine. I'm using Tuner Cat RT. It’s cool too. When you change a cell in a table the change is automatically sent to the Ostrich, couldn’t be easier.
I have been playing with my tune (new heads, cam, single plane intake, and bigger injectors) for weeks only because making a change by burning a chip then testing it is so slow. I don’t get much time to play with the car. With the Ostrich and C.A.T.S RT in about 20 minutes I have the car running almost perfect. The wideband O2 helps too.
