Default Datamaster ?'s

Is there someplace where I can find out what each seansors variables are?
Like what should the O2's be reading, etc...

Also, what does Fuel Trim cell, LT erm counts and BPW mS mean?

New to this, so dont flame me to hard, trying to learn this stuff.
And could anybody look at a session I recorded and give me feedback?

Thanks!!

Randy,
You can send it to Alvin @ pcmforless for a tune and he will charge you for the review and new tune based on what the Datamaster is showing. He can burn a new chip for you or send you a new bin to burn it yourself. Db

Also as a start, Datamaster itself has a help guide. It explains many of those things to a degree. If you have a FSM, it also explains some of the theory of fuel control.

Real quick, O2 values are in millivolts. 450mV is basically 14.7:1 AFR. They will cycle quickly around that though as the ECM makes small adjustments. > 450mV is fuel rich, < 450mV is fuel lean.

Fuel Trim Cell is what set of adjustments it is using. The fuel at 1000rpm and no throttle can be very different from 3000rpm and 50% throttle. So there are various cells that represent different operating conditions. How the cells are broken up depends on the car and ECM, the FSM might be the best bet for determining what the cells are for your car.

LTerm counts are the long-term fuel adjustments. If I recall right, numbers over 128 mean it is adding more fuel, and less than 128 means it is subtracting fuel from the base map.

BPS mS is the injector base pulse width, in milliseconds. Basically it is the length of time the injector is commanded open. More time means more fuel.
