How much HP ????
Hello all, well my Corvette is all together and been running for a few weeks and has lots more power than before. I was just wondering how much HP you guys think it's producing.
Here's my combo; 1988 Corvette coupe (Z51), 4+3 trans rebuilt with roller bearings
-stock pistons, rods, piston rings and bearings (good compression on all cylinders)
-comp cams xtreme energy camshaft 218/224 @0.50
-comp cams valve springs recomended with the above cam
-comp dual roller timing chain
-comp thick wall push rods
-comp lifters
-mildly ported 113 casting heads (milled down 25 thousands, I think), back-cut ferra valves with 3 angle valve job, clearence for higher lift.
-felpro 1010 head gasket
-scorpion 1.5 roller rocker arms
-adjustable fuel pressure regulator
-Hooker long-tube headers and dual 3inch exhaust
-edlebrock aluminum water pump
-eldelbrock high flow runners and base plate
-ported plenium
-BBk throttlebody
-K&N air filther with open air box
-de-sceened MAF
well let me know what kind of HP numbers you think I'm running.

265 at the wheels would be my guess, depending on the dyno (a dynojet would show about 300). The horsepower number won't be huge because of the TPI but the torque, i'd bet, would be phenomenal. I wouldn't be afraid to guess 375 rwtq with that combo.
