Default Power steering pump LT1

Did all LT1s use the same power steering pump. Mines dead, and a buddy says he's got one for an LT1 and will ship it to me for free. Just wanted to know if an earlier LT1 pwr steering pump is the same as my 95. Thanks CF!

The pulley on '92s and early '93s might be different because of the double sided belt insanity.

F and B body cars may have had different pumps entirely.

But even if the pulley was different, I should be able to swap the old pulley onto the working pump right? Thanks 94z07fx3

Be sure and check the rack-to-reservoir pipe, too. They seals on 'em tend to leak as they age.

How many quarts of pwr steering fluid do I need to fill up my reservoir, lines, and new pump?

Not that much. 1 1/2-2 quarts.
