Default abs/asr problem

I pulled code 35 LR wheel speed sensor error and code 62 tachometer data error. Ive been reading the abs posts (current and archive) and read that guys removed the sensor to clean it. How is this done? Do you just wipe it off? Is there a cleaning solution to use? When I first start the car the brakes work great, but the longer I drive the worse they get. I'll be coming to a red light for a typical stop and the "abs engaged" light comes on and then if i take a turn normally the asr engaged light comes on. If i shut off the asr that helps for about 30-40 minutes then the service abs and the service asr light come on and stay on until I shut off the car and restart and the cycle starts again. Any help appreciated

Electric Parts Contact Cleaner spray. New sensors are about $70 (add $10 for the right side ones. God knows why.)
