More SR questions
Okay, so I'm STILL dealing with all the RTV on my car.
First question...How do I get the plenum lid off? It is glued on. I used the chisel (as per the suggestions of our wonderful members
) to get the entire plenum off, but the lid is a little tougher...pointers?
Next, I'm sure in cleaning off all the RTV from the runners, something had to fall down into the intake. (Its on the car) I vacuumed out the runners and stuff with a shop vac, is this adequate? Will the RTV hurt anything...?

Is there a reason to take off the lid of the SR? There is nothing in there that moves. If you want to clean it out, use a carb cleaner and a cloth. Or use lacquer thinner and a brass brush and a little compressed air thru the passages. If you don't have to take it (lid) off, just leave it on.
