Has anyone used the Bosch EV1 High Impedance or FIC Blue Demon Pearl injectors from Fuel Injector Connection? I'm trying to figure out which ones are best for 1991.
the difference between these and our rebuilt line is that these are new injectors bought as NOS from warehouse surplus. We recon each one, test, flow match and polish the cases in either full shine or brushed finish, We also fit them with new viton o rings for compatibilaty with ethonol. They come with a 3 yr warrantee and are a drop in for your 91
supply is limited. we had over 100 sets I think we have about 26 left
What does NOS mean? Do both have anti clog devices?
NOS= new old stock.. alll bosch 2,3 have anticlog nozzle. they both utilize the 4 hole discharge plate with an internal valve. The older style has a pintle valve protruding out the bottom
Thanks. One last question, what happens under the warranty if there are only 26 sets left and there is a problem down the road with the injectors and you are out of them?

no problem. we keep a few sets always. plus they are available from bosch so if 1 goes bad i will get you a new replacement. To tell you the truth, Bosch injectors don't go bad very often. Bosch says their injector is designed for 1,000,000 miles under normal use.
How does the recon EV1 Bosche injector compare in performance to other injectors?
pretty much the same. the design 3 is later tech, the late ev1 has the 4 hole discharge plate like the des 3, but has a metal body, the des 3 has a stainless inside with a phenelic plastic molded arount it. performance characteristics are the same as far as i'm concerned. The new ones that are polished are getting very popular with the TPI guys because you see the injector. All the lt1 up have injector covers
On you site design 3 says ecm recalbration is needed if car came with anything but 24lb flow? How about for ev1? I believe the 1991's came with 22lb flow. Also, does ev1 have stainless inside?

IF YOU REPLACE A 22 WITH A 24 YOU SHOULD RECAL THE ECU. YOUR CAR USES 22'S,, HERE ARE THE LINKS TO THE SETS WE RECOMMEND
I just replaced my injectors on my 88. It wasn't all that bad and I did it without removing the runners. I to bought my bocsh III injectors from JON at FIC and this guy was alot of help and the service was GREAT. I also done the TB Bypass why I was at it.
