after driving today, i shut off the car, and the A/C Blower motor runs on full speed, without key in the lock, all the time..to make the stroy short, the blower control moduel shorted out, and i had +12 Volts on the Motor all the time!
can you tell me, where i can get this part?
the curcuit is STK6994J
Delco 16061602
also Caddy´s and Buicks seem to have this module, 12484912 from Rockauto..
The C4 climate control came from Caddilac and I am sure the motor speed control module is identical to other GM cars. We need someone who knows the cross reference to help us out .

that would be very helpful...i found out, that some Audi cars used the module, too...
i will call my Audi dealer in monday, hopefully, they can get it....
Go to www.acdelco.com - look up your Year for the Part # and then use the "Vehicle List" or x-reference section for all the models it works with. The Electronic a/c blower module is used across the line. The only redesign was in '90 when a/c clutch control was moved to the ECM.
Your problem may be an open in the feedback circuit and not a faulty Module. Actual blower voltage is returned to the Processor - for your Year the Programmer. That circuit is protected by a 5 amp fuse. If it opens, the Dilbert's who designed this thing left the blower running at Max, even with the key off. Prior to '90, the fuse was pasted to the firewall to the left of the Evaporator Housing. Sometimes easier to find by following the splice from the blower hot lead up to the firewall. In '90, it was moved to the fuse box and it's usually labled PGM. See your Owner's Manual.
I have a used 16061602 that I just tested and it works. If you want it I'd be happy to get $25 plus shipping. I have no idea how much shipping will be to you so you may want to check local first. LMK!
