Batwing removal
Does anyone have a list of what needs to be removed to get the batwing off? I have a 1984 Corvette with an automatic transmission. I'm thinking about replacing the bushings this winter, and I want to know what I am in for.

I apologize for my lack of exact experience but ...
I did pull the batwing on an 88 and it was very easy to do. The key was to use a floor jack to hold the leaf spring.

Take off exhaust. Disconnect all 3 drive shafts from diff. Pop off camber and toe rods from the spindle side. Disconnect spring from spindle sides.Disconnect driveline support beam.. Take off the 2 carrier bolts and it should come out as an assembly....Or, you can take off exhaust, disconnect the 4 spindle control rods from the car side, e brake cables, brake lines, driveshaft only,driveline support beam, and take the entire rear suspension out as an assembly. All in all its pretty easy...
