Default FAST xfi and dual sync distributor instructions wrong; users out there??

I have been having all kinds of problems with the timing this dual sync distributor for my 427sb. I think I finally figured out the problem, the instructions are wrong! I had to read through both the 50* and 1* procedures before I picked up on the fact that they both said to set the software to sequential and both procedures resulted in sequential capability. Attached are a couple of pictures of a check off sheet I developed; please correct me if I'm wrong. I did verify that every profile in the FAST software has a 40ms inductive delay setting for chevy setups, so I think that is accurate.

I built a 396 stroker for 67 Camaro with the same set up. If you use the 50 degree method, you need to reposition the module. There is another set of screw holes to position it in. The dist is set up for the 1 degree set up out of the box. But it's kind of cool, you just turn the dist in the 50 degree set up, and a light will come on, on the module itself. Just set your crank at 50 degrees, and your timing is set exactly.

So the 50* procedure is for sequential right? When you put a timing light on it, should the light hit 50* on the balancer when #1 is firing?
