Well, yesterday my SRC light went on when I started moving the vehicle. It went off for a while after I shut the car off and then turned it on again, but went on again after about a few blocks. This has been happening every time I drive the car. It does not go on right away, but after I drive it a few feet. The light has never been on before, other than start up, for as long as I've owned it (almost 2 years.)
So I go to check the codes by jumping a and c on the terminal, and it flashes every single code, all 13 of them! I tried clearing the codes by disconnecting the battery, same result. I'm pretty sure that all of my shocks/actuators aren't bad! What else could be the cause of this?
Check and make sure the actuators aren't loose. Sometimes the the nut that holds the shock tight comes loose. The clip keeps the actuator on but the nut loose will allow it to move around and tripping a code. Try there.
The FSM shows that possible problems like this can be a bad connection at the SRC controller, a weak or discharged battery, or a mis-aligned SRC module connector or has come loose or removed while the ignition is in the ON position. It's also possible that the SRC module itself is bad.
As mentioned, check the actuators to make sure they are properly mounted (a PITA for the rear shocks ) and that the connectors are clean of any corrosion and are dry. Same goes for the all of the SRC wiring harness connectors including the SRC controller. Bad grounds are another possible problem.
Because some of the SRC codes are set as history codes, you wil have to clear the codes each time the Service SRC light comes on after you try some solution.
You cannot delete SRC history codes by disconnecting the battery. You have to use the paper-clip method to clear codes. With the ignition ON, insert the paper clip between pins A and C for two seconds, remove and do again twice more for a total of three times.
