I am having problems with a 1992 Vette on the electic or charging sys.
Hi buddys, this vette is my first car that I had have (thanks God!!) so is hard for me....I hardly know how to check the engine oil
so this is the deal... the car need the gas pump...so they changed....the I took it to the electrician so the door panel get fix..and the glass and back glass trunk now ...work..., but it does not start
may could be a short circuit.... I have not replace the spark plugs. Yesterday I moved back the seat with the console buttons, does any of you know if it's the alternator, starter??
;another thing...the headlights are getting stock when I turn it on...guys thanks alot ahead....I appreaciatte you advices.

Is the engine turning over?
Are there any codes?
Is there fuel in the tank?
Need all the info you have, is the car trying to start and is there spark at the spark plugs?

-at the dash board appear some ligths like check oil, check engine...
-it does have fuel

So you say it does not turn over the starter correct? Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key on? Do you have the factory service manual? If you do not hear the fuel pump come on when the key turns on it sounds like the VATS(vehicle anti theft) ckt. Clean off your key and try again and listen for the fuel pump to kick on.DIY is Do It Yourself. these cars are complicated and hard for someone who has never worked on a car to fix.

No it does not start is like dead, I had already taken to the shop.......they already changed the fuel pump and the tank was cleaned...I wil take theVette to the electician shop so they could find out whats happenig.....thank you for yout advices Redeasysport
