I have a 90 so the nuts that hold the booster on are on the inside of the fire wall. Oh it was fun. Take the seat out for more room. Youi will need a coupla of universal joints and various lenght extensions. If you have universal joint sockets in 3/8" and 1/4" sets you can use those. I went to sears and bought 10 & 13 mm deep universal sockets.
You have to take down the knee bolster and the metal bolster/rienforcement under the carpeted knee bolster....it's tight spaces so plan on taking your time or you might get frustrated. I devoted a whole saturday to r&r'ing mine.
You also want to pay attention to the position of the push rod that is in the booster...the one that pushes on the M/C....that has a specific distance that it sticks out past the booster face. My car's spec was level with the face. Do you have a FSM? It is a mechanically simple job to do, but there isn't any easy wayto get to the four nuts that hold the booster on the fire wall.
Good luck and have patience & take alot of breaks when you start to cuss the design!
I replaced mine in my 87 without removing the seat, I'm 6' and 212 pounds. It wasn't easy, you have to be somewhat of a contorsionist, I also put some masking tape on the socket so I wouldn't drop anything. And don't mess with adjusting the rod, that can lead to catastrophy, if it's adjusted to long it will cause pressure to be applied to the brakes at all times.
