it does not start right back
I have a 88 vert after I drive it for a while, I turn it off and the darn thing does not start back untill 10 to 15 minutes pass. Someone told me once that it was a security system. It started about a month ago and I do not know what to do to solve this problem. Any ideas?

had the same problem with my 89, changed the injectors and now I have no problems.

I have the same problem and I'm sure it's a security issue. Dash lights, radio, etc. but no crank or fuel.
So far I've disabled the key sensor by wiring in a resistor and replaced the battery in my fob but no change. I'm guessing it must be in PKE system.
I've also wondered if by chance it might have anything to do with the infamous door switches??
Until the day when I really start to dig into it I just wait it out or sometimes if I walk out of range and return after I hear the horn she starts.

This is exactly what is going on with mine. appart from waiting to re-start her, what else is there to be done to solve the issue permanently.
