Default Camber-Brace installation instructions

Does anyone have a copy of the RD Camber-Brace installation instructions for a standard LT1?

Thanks,

Jim

I'm looking for mine but not having much luck.

If your stuck trying to get it into place, I remember you
have to start it in on the passenger side, tabs up, and rotate
it down once you've worked it into place.

Also, be careful of damaging the sensor on your water pump with the brace, its heavy

Thanks for the tips. I'm picking up a used one from a forum member and wasn't sure on the instructions. I think the installation looks pretty straight forward. Do you typically need to shim it on one side?

YES! standard front wheel alignment shims work fine, available at most auto parts stores. Sometimes in the "HELP" section. they kinda look like a "U" , in various thickness.

You only need to shim one side, after putting the bar in place, some cars do not need any shimming, some need a bunch. Bolt one side up tight, and see if there is any room for shims on the other end of the bar.

15mm and 18mm

I don't have them but I have re-installed mine about 5 times. Is this the first time?

You have to bend the AC line, just a bit, CAREFULL. It's easier if you disconnect the temperature plug at the water pump. Remove the center panels of the inner fenders.

Open tips face down, insert from the passenger side, once you reach driver side lower the passenger side. Rotate clockwise.

Tip: wrap it with plastic to protect it. Once is installed, cut plastic with a razor.

Get Vette aligned!
