Default Help ..... Horn Switch Part number

I need to find a replacement part for my horn switch. All I can find out from the Chevy dealer is that there is a part number 12518248. And that part number is for just the cover. I'm actually looking for the switch mechanism under the cover.

Does anyone know what this part number is, or where I can find it? Or better yet have one laying around the garage they could sell me? This is for a '93 by the way.

I ended up modding mine for a nitrous switch on the steering wheel. Great wow factor for passangers. Now I can't find the old parts in my garage after 6 years and several moves.

You do not have a switch in the steering wheel, you have 2 buttons and 2 contacts.
You have a relay under the dash, that is connected to the horns and the security system.
Not sure what you are looking for?

Yes, and the contacts are switches by definition. That is what I'm trying to find a part number for. Currently I have to replace everything that is needed to use a horn button on the right side of the steering wheel. There is a cover, which is just a piece of plastic, and that part number is above. I need everything else.

I show two separate switches, left side is PN 1251247 right side is
PN 12518248.

the "contact" listed with the switch says it is not serviced except as part of the wheel. I would try vette2vette.
