Hey C4 brothers! There's a 92-93 Opti-Spark Moisture Eliminator being sold in my Corvette Central catalog(catalog 4E, page 54) that claims to "keep the moisture out of the module with a permanent seal". Sells for $24.95. Worth looking into, or should I just open my driver's window and let the $25 bucks fly out as I roll down the highway??? Much obliged.
Got a link? You could probably do the same with some Permatex "The Right Stuff" RTV if it is just a seal.
Looking online that has been discontinued. They do have a modified Opti for 92-94 but I don't like what they did the one in my pics uses a 95 cap they did not do that looks like they drilled a 93 cap.

I don't know about this. I tried this in 2003 with my 92 and thoe "T" vacumm fittings rubbed against the balancer hub and I ended up taking them off. I wasted money and time.
I had the shop that works on my vette put something like that on my 1992 A/T about 8 years ago and the Opti is still running great, in fact so is the stock water pump also. Added a Custom built Griffen Race, 3 row radiator at the same time. Runs about 174 degrees on a 80 degree day or so on the freeway, in traffic, 193 and fans come on and cools to 180 degrees. Ed Wright custom chip in it. 160 degree thermo. It has about 130,000 miles on both of them. 160,000 on vette. I drive it. Just make sure you route the two hoses around everything that moves. I can not complain. Drive it 150 miles a day round trip to and from work. A couple of weeks ago I thought the Opti was shot, but turned out to be the coil and Ing module. One of these days MSD.

Did you do this? Did it work?
Yes I did it and it worked. I should have nipped a bit more off the "T" fittings and JB Welded it better as I did have to do it later.
The vacuum lines (2 were added) is what was enhanced on the 95+ Opti-spark. 92-94 can be upgraded / converted but, requires other new parts and expense. I've done it and works great! I'm sure that there is an article on the Forum related to this or I can dig up the P/N's required for the swap.
