So over the last week the wipers on my 96 LT-1 have been quirky at best. If I hit the mist button the wipers just keep running...for like 3-5 minutes. Then finally stop. The other day during a rain storm on medium speed, they all of sudden just stopped. I turned the wipers to high and they kicked back on. Did this twice and then they worked fine. Anyone have a clue what could be going on? Just hoping it's not the wiper switch...Thanks!
Actually there is a cap on the motor that has all the electronics in it that control the speed and delay. The name of it escapes me at the moment but I replaced mine when I had similar issues and it is all good now. The downside is it is very expensive. Best to find a used one try Corvette Recyclers.
You can change all the parts you like but the motor appears to work the controller doesn't IMHO.
Ah maybe but...

If the controller is with the motor, the motor is cheaper than the controller by it's self, it would just make since to me to just replace the whole motor with the new controller already on it.
Reman motors don't usually come with the pulse board (aka control unit). I don't think that's not your problem, though. It's the park switch - a $15 part by itself, or included with a new/reman motor. The park switch works with the wiper switch in your door to tell the wipers when they should stop or keep going. A dirty contact in the park switch will cause the symptoms you're seeing.

Now I got ya. I tried to find the part online, but no luck so far. I'll open up the motor this weekend and take a look at the park switch. Hopefully it's just dirty. Thanks for your help.
