THe LE2 heads I was referring to in the package are Iron. Vettes have alum. right? Im deployed so I can't go pop the hood. Going to a iron head is no good right? Do to weight.

Go to CompCams website and download their CamQuest program. It will give you an (optimistic) idea about the kind of power each cam will make. (And, which cams are for EFI)

I will say the cam you list is probably not for a computer controlled car. Most (if not all) EFI cams don't go much below 112LSA. It's probably intended for a carbed motor.

Less LSA means more overlap which means less vacuum (for things like brake assist). But, there are ways around that.

Given the heads are iron and the cam is useless I guess Ill hold out and wait for another buy.

Iron heads are for B bodys and even most B boy customers swap to alu heads when going for ported heads. A few stubborn people keep iron heads but most go with aluminum.

That cam is for an LT1 with fuel injection. Nothing wrong with a tight LSA on fuel injected. Overlap is a reult of the durationa dn the LSA and since these are small duration lobes, there is not much overlap in a cam this size. It has about 60 degrees and is similar to the CC 503 cam in this department.

Tighter LSA,s will fatten up the TQ curve but have a choppier idle (most people like this). That cam will work with an A4 and no stall actually while pulling to 6000 RPM or so.

If you ahve some gear/stall and wanna shift higher, a larger cam would be a better choice.
