Default '91 Sensor question

On my 91 L-98 under the distributor on the drivers side is a sensor of some kind with just one wire attached. Just curious as to what it is???

Thanks in advance.

Aloha,
Larry

MAT is going to have 2 wires. Oil Pressure will only have 1, and is about the size of a small bottle of ibuprofin. Oil pressure is likely on the same fitting that the low oil pressure cutoff switch to the FP is on, which has 2 terminals and a heavy gage orange wire running to it.

There is a tach filter in the general area. The tach filter is silver, is the size of 2 chap-stick lids glued together and silver in color.

If it is on the drivers side under and kinda next to the distributor, it is for oil pressure. To be sure, disconnect it and your oil pressure will probably read 80 PSI. -Matt-
